Yeah, this was strange when I wrote it. I was thinking about how a while ago I wanted to be in a relationship with a person because I knew it would be a disaster. It made no sense, it was just the appeal of the danger and inevitable chaos that would result. I'm over them now, but I wonder, do other people chase trainwrecks?

If anything, it isn't even the poem itself I have anything to say to - it's the title and your comments. Just the simple metaphor of "chasing trainwrecks" paints such a dark, pretty image in my mind - you barely needed to write this one out. It's a gorgeous concept alone. (But I'm glad you did, because I like the ending too!)
